JCDecaux-billboards

The Joensuu urban area has illuminated billboards, bus stop boards and digital billboards maintained by JCDecaux Finland. The City of Joensuu manages the other side of 23 illuminated billboards, which are widely used for marketing the city's partner events as well as joint marketing of events.

Large billboards

It is possible to put up temporary billboards to Ystävyydenpuisto park and to the other parks.

Match billboards

The match billboards are located along busy car and pedestrian roads at the eastern end of Suvantosilta, in Ystävyydenpuisto Park (corner of Siltakatu and Länsikatu), on the corner of Koulukatu and Rauhankatu (next to Kanervala ABC) and on the corner of Rantakatu and Nurmeksentie (next to Siihtala ABC). These billboards are mainly for advertising various match events, but it is also possible to advertise other events.

Billboards from rural and suburban market squares

It is possible for the event organizer to rent billboard spaces in rural and suburban market squares. Contact event services for more information on billboard sizes and other details. If you are interested in billboard placements, contact tapahtumapalvelut@joensuu.fi

Poster boards

There are free poster spaces on notice boards in shops, libraries and shopping malls. The poster towers maintained by the city are located in the Taitokortteli – Artisan’s quarter yard and the Passenger Port.

Event organizers can submit their event posters to these poster boards on their own.
